The AKETEK™ Lift-Up welding helmet features our signature AKETEK™ auto-darkening welding filter for maximum optical protection with the addition of a liftable visor. The visor flips up to reveal a large 170 x 85 mm transparent protective screen, allowing you to grind and inspect the weld without removing the helmet. This feature provides convenience and enhances your work efficiency. ­­It also comes with the same smart features as our other helmets.

  • Smart auto-delay that adapts the speed at which the dark state returns to the light state based on your welding speed.

  • ‘Always on’ – So you don’t have to turn it on between each use.

The helmet is suitable for electric arc welding (MIG/MAG, MMA, TIG), plasma welding & cutting, and grinding. Equipped with our auto-darkening filter, the AKETEK™ Lift-Up has a light state shade of 3 and a variable dark state shade in the range of 8-12. This ensures optimal visibility and protection during your work. All our helmets are rated 1/1/1/1, and V1 & enhanced optical performance according to the latest ISO16321.

With over 45 years of knowledge, AKETEK™ auto-darkening filters are designed to meet the needs of welders. Our goal is to provide you with performance, convenience, and efficiency, delivering reliable protection to every weld.

The welding filter has two sensors strategically located at eye level to provide complete coverage. It has a variable dark shade of 8-12 and a light state shade of 3, ensuring great visibility and protection during your work. AKETEK™ filters are ‘always on’ with a market-leading battery life of up to 88.000 hours – equivalent to 10 years of readiness.
