The Auto-Darkening Filter
With over 45 years of knowledge, AKETEK™ auto-darkening filters are designed to meet the needs of welders. Our goal is to provide you with performance, convenience, and efficiency, delivering reliable protection to every weld.
The welding filter has two sensors strategically located at eye level to provide complete coverage. It has a variable dark shade of 8-12 and a light state shade of 3, ensuring great visibility and protection during your work. AKETEK® filters are ‘always on’ with a market-leading battery life of up to 88.000 hours – equivalent to 10 years of readiness.
Lightweight and Ergonomic Design
The AKETEK™ VIEW is a lightweight, durable, and ergonomically designed helmet that offers maximum comfort. The headgear in the helmet has five adjustment points, allowing you to find the perfect fit so that the helmet can support you for a whole workday. It comes equipped with a sweat pad for your forehead and a soft neck pad for increased comfort at your neck.
